How to cancel or change your plan
Updated October 2026 · 2 min read
Quick answer
Open Profile, then Subscription. You can change or cancel there in a few taps, with no phone call.
Where to go
Profile, then Subscription. You see your plan, your next payment date and your options.
Change plans
Pick another plan. Plenishly shows what changes before you confirm.
Cancel
Choose cancel. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds
Refunds cover the first paid charge: 7 days on monthly plans and 30 days on yearly plans. Renewals are not refundable.
Free forever
If you cancel, you go back to the free plan. Your household and pantry stay.
Is cancelling easy?
It should be, and it is. Open your profile, go to Subscription, and choose cancel. There is no phone call and no form to fill in. You keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
What happens to your data?
Your household and pantry stay on your account. If you return to the free plan, you keep them. Some features, such as unlimited scans, go back to the free limits.
How do refunds work?
Refunds cover the first paid charge only, not renewals. For monthly plans the window is 7 days from the first charge. For yearly plans it is 30 days. If you think you were charged by mistake, write to hello@plenishly.com and explain what happened.
When should you change plans instead of cancelling?
| Situation | Better move |
|---|---|
| You use it less in summer | Move to a cheaper plan, then back up in fall |
| You hit one limit again and again | Look at the plan that raises that limit |
| Money is tight this month | Cancel and use the free plan, which stays free |
| A new baby arrives | Keep it, and use it for the first hard weeks |

Will you lose anything by waiting?
If you cancel in the middle of a period, you do not lose the days you paid for. You can cancel the day after you renew, if that is easier for you to remember, and still use everything until the period ends.
How do you avoid surprise charges?
Check the next payment date in your Subscription page. Many people set a calendar note a few days before. If you want to cancel, do it then.
What if you change your mind later?
You can come back at any time. Your household and pantry will still be there, and you can pick a plan again from the same page.
