How to export or delete your data

Updated October 2026 · 2 min read

Quick answer

Open Profile, then Privacy. You can request an export or delete your account there.

Export

Tap export. Plenishly emails you a secure link when it is ready.

Delete

Deleting your account removes your data. You will be asked to confirm with your password first.

What we do not do

Plenishly does not sell your information and does not put health or allergy details in logs.

Before you delete

If you have a paid plan, cancel it first so you are not billed again.

Why does this matter?

Your account may hold your family's names, food rules, receipts and budget. It is yours. You should be able to take a copy or remove it without a fight.

What does an export include?

An export gives you a copy of your account data. It arrives by email as a secure link, so open it soon and keep the file somewhere safe.

What happens when you delete?

Deleting removes your account and the data attached to it. You are asked to confirm with your password first, because deletion cannot be undone. If you share a household, think about who else uses the plan before you go.

What should you do before deleting?

StepWhy
Cancel any paid planSo you are not billed again
Export your dataSo you keep a copy if you want it
Tell your householdThey may use the shared plan
Save recipes you loveThey go with the account

How is your information treated?

Plenishly does not sell your information. Health details, allergies and exclusions are not written into logs. If you have a question about your data, write to hello@plenishly.com.

How long does it take?

Exports are prepared and emailed when ready. Deletion starts after you confirm. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder before you ask again.

What if you only want to clear one thing?

If you only want one thing gone, such as a receipt or a person in your household, write to hello@plenishly.com. You do not have to delete the whole account.

Why might you want an export?

People ask for a copy of their data for many reasons: to keep a record of grocery spending, to move to another tool, to share with an accountant, or simply to see what is stored. A copy also gives you peace of mind before you delete anything.

Is your data safe in the meantime?

Use a strong password and turn on any extra sign-in protection you can. Do not share your sign-in with others. If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password right away and write to hello@plenishly.com.
